Shft. Media is a photography and film studio created by me, Kira Caldwell, a photographer based in Greenville, South Carolina, working across the Southeast and California.

I specialize in 35mm film photography. Old school, I know — but that’s where my love for photography started. I took my first film photography class in high school, where we worked in an old darkroom, and that experience is what shaped how I see images today.

Alongside film, I also shoot digitally with a camera that’s almost always by my side. Together, both mediums allow me to create work that feels intentional, nostalgic, and true to life.

I offer brand photography, family photography, maternity sessions, weddings, engagements, headshots, and in-studio or on-location storytelling sessions throughout Greenville, South Carolina and surrounding areas.

My work is rooted in storytelling through nostalgic imagery and natural emotion, focusing on real moments, real connection, and images that feel lived in rather than overly produced... unless that is what you are going for and let me tell you I have a new love for studio imagery!
